Graduate School Decisions, part III -- Dispatches from Rochester

This weekend, I'm in Rochester with Raquel, staying with a friend, because we're checking out Syracuse and their arts program. We found out it's awesome, with not one but two expenses-paid trips built into the schedule -- one to NYC and one to an international destination -- so they painted a fairly convincing picture for the school and the arts journalism program. (More on all that later.)

But while here, I got an email from CUNY telling me I was accepted into their inaugural journalism program. It's neat that I got into a school in NYC, but, man, Syracuse sounds so good I'm not sure the prospect of living in NYC for a couple years is enough to overcome it.

The record is now 2-0-1.
