Marooned on a Stone Age desert island

My computer died, sort of, on Tuesday. Well, to put a finer point on it, my hard drive might have died. Either way, my computer stopped working and it's been in the auspices of Best Buy's Geek Squad since. I stopped by today -- four days since dropping it off to the Geeks -- and was told that the diagnostic hasn't even been started yet. So who knows when it'll be ready.

I wanted to drop in a post -- made from Syracuse University's Bird Library -- to update things as to why I haven't updated either Crazy from the Head or I Stand Syracused in a few days. And I was really going to let loose a blog posting barrage. Oh well.

Hopefully, my computer will be back to me soon -- please please please -- but in the meantime, if I don't respond to e-mails or any sort of electronic communication, it's not because I don't like you anymore (though, it might...) but because the times I have access to a computer are, for now, extremely limited.

And with that, I'm off to sharpen my pencil and buy a notebook.
