End of days?

As regular visitors to this blog -- all two of you -- have noticed, there hasn't been much in the way of updates the past month or so. My graduate program is winding down, but the work is ratcheting up. So I haven't had a whole lot of time for substantive blog posts that are of some value beyond "Here's who I'm hooking up with today..." But I also haven't been posting much because, frankly, I've become a bit discouraged with the whole blog scene. According to StatCounter, no one comes to this blog, and when they do they don't spend much time here. That's cool, though; there are a lot of blogs out there, and when you don't update a lot then you can't cultivate an audience.

Still, I've been thinking that this blog's days are numbered. Crazy from the Heat will be two years old on June 7, and maybe that's a good end date for it, as well. If I haven't been able to gain some traction in the blogosphere by this point, it's never going to happen.

Maybe I'll stick it out, though. Who can say? Discouragement has got the better of me, I'm afraid. Hell, it's made me post one of these "OMG! Me me ME!" posts. And that's just not cool.
